Retail Banking Management System
Many banks are experiencing an unprecedented growth pattern and the need to scale up business process applications is becoming more and more obvious for the purpose of delivering the same quality of service all over the coverage area. Service-orientation is the main target of any modern bank and the peak business of a large number of today’s banks is achieved in retail products. Products offered by banks are in form of loans, where each loan has its own business rules and constraints. The bank investment in this part is high and widely known. In order to enhance customer service and add extra quality layer to the business, banks are in great need of automating this service and extending it as far as possible. Besides offering the quality and professional interface to the business, the automation process will help reduce time span and minimize the error margin which is considered a “red line” especially in banking systems.
Netways built a state of the art Retail Banking Management System based on .Net technology and highly integrated with familiar desktop tools such as Word and Excel. The .Net Retail Application is built to serve a variety of business rules which can change in a short time due to a certain event. Therefore, the application must be flexible in order to meet the new requirements. The .Net Retail Application supports high levels of customization, starting from user experience and ending with product customization. Because the Application is data driven, the application administrator can change the application view of the end users. The changes can affect the main menu which defines the accessibility to the application features.>
Products (Loans) are defined in the database using Parameters that are evaluated at runtime. These parameters can be changed using an administrative form or view. And according to the changes done, the output of the simulation engine or any related business behavior will change. This simulation engine is an interesting module that allows the simulation of a loan based on customer requirements. It is also possible to perform a reverse simulation to calculate values to meet the client’s needs. Reporting is also quite advanced in the Retail Management System and allows the extraction of data and displaying this data either in an Excel document or in a PDF format.
